When you remove a detail display, you must refresh the Discovery administrator database metadata cache in the Discovery server application. (For more information, see Refreshing the search cache.)
If you are no longer using a specific search result display or need to remove it from the system, you can delete it.

To delete a detail display
| 1 | Log in to the Admin console. |
| 2 | Choose Displays from the navigation pane. |
| 3 | Choose Detail Displays. |
| 4 | Choose the Delete option next to the detail display that you want to remove. |
| 5 | In the confirmation dialog box, choose OK to remove the detail display, or choose Cancel to keep the detail display and return to Detail Displays. |
